2019-224-02129 Research Assistant Within Energy Planning

At the Technical Faculty of IT and Design, Department of Planning, Copenhagen three positions as Research Assistant within energy planning is open for appointment from Maj 1 2019 or soon hereafter. The positions are available for a period of one year. The Department of Development and Planning conducts research and teaching on development and planning in a broad sense, including social science aspects as well as more technical aspects of development, and with a focus on environmental, international as well as administrative dimensions.

Job description

The positions as Research Assistants are offered as a continuation of research and project coordination within Horizon 2020 projects (e.g. Heat Roadmap Europe) and Innovation Fund Denmark projects as well as other areas. The Research Assistants will work within research in RE-INVEST, CORE as well as sEEnergies and other externally funded projects.

The topics for the research will be energy systems analyses, energy efficiency and mainly within district heating, heat networks and regulation of heat markets. In addition, the positions will be concerned with administrative project administration, contact with partners, and dissemination activities such as newsletters, homepages and preparing reports.

Past experience within these areas of research and project coordination are an advantage.

Qualification requirements:
The required level of qualifications is at master level.

Appointment to Research Assistant may be for a period of up to three years. Reappointment may be made, but a Research Assistant can only be appointed to Research Assistant for a period of maximum three years. Agreement

Employment is in accordance with the Ministerial Order on the Appointment of Academic Staff at Universities (the Appointment Order) and the Ministry of Finance's current Job Structure for Academic Staff at Universities. Employment and salary are in accordance with the collective agreement for state-employed academics.
