Part-time Lecturer in the field of cyber security and trust

Job description

At CMI, Department of Electronic Systems, Aalborg University, a position as Part-time Lecturer in the field of cyber security and trust is available from September 1, 2018, for a period of 3 year.

The applicant must have knowledge and experience in cyber security, trust frameworks, enterprise architectures, risk assessment, vulnerability analysis and risk mitigation, ISO 27001 and other relevant standards, and handling of personal data in enterprises.

Contribution to other courses and project supervision can also be required; however, the amount of involvement in these activities must be agreed with the applicant.

The applicant must have as minimum a relevant master’s degree in technical IT, and furthermore the applicant must document teaching experience and have worked in the field for minimum five years. Experience from industry is highly desirable.

Applicants must have a Master's level and further high-level qualifications e.g. areas of specialisation, expertise or practical experience gained through employment within the subject's practice area. Teaching qualifications will be included in the assessment.

Employment is in accordance with the Ministerial Order on the Appointment of Academic Staff at Universities (the Appointment Order) or Agreement on graduates with a master's degree in nursing employed as academic staff and the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC) on part-time lecturers at universities, etc., under the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education.
