Part-time Lecturer in Control and Autonomous Systems

At the Technical Faculty of IT and Design, Department of Electronic Systems, a position as Part-time Lecturer in Control and Autonomous Systems is available for a period of 3 years.The position is open for appointment from September 1, 2019 or soon as possible hereafter.

Job description

The Part-time Lecturer will teach courses on the Bachelor and the Master levels within control engineering and robotics. The candidate has to bear a PhD degree related to control engineering.

The applicant shall have documented record of teaching courses in fault-tolerant control, fault detection, path planning for robots or alike. The candidate shall have experience in the supervision of student-project related to autonomous systems such as satellites, boats, cars, and robots. The candidate has to know the involved theory and practice of autonomous systems, including design of electronics hardware, instrumentation, and experience with embedded software.

Applicants must have a Master's level and further high-level qualifications e.g. areas of specialisation, expertise or practical experience gained through employment within the subject's practice area. Teaching qualifications will be included in the assessment.

Employment is in accordance with the Ministerial Order on the Appointment of Academic Staff at Universities (the Appointment Order) or Agreement on graduates with a master's degree in nursing employed as academic staff and the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC) on part-time lecturers at universities, etc., under the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education.
