Research assistant in service design (T-Factor)

At the Technical Faculty of IT and Design, Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology, Aalborg University, Copenhagen campus a full-time position as Research assistant in Service design (T-Factor) will be available for a period of 12 months from September 1 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter. The goal of the Department of Architecture, Design, and Media Technology is the development of an innovative cluster of engineering-based environments for education and research which integrate creativity, engineering, and technology within the disciplines of architecture, urban design, industrial design, digital design, and interactive media. The Department is a leading research and educational environment in Denmark that addresses the challenge of the interplay between creativity and technology and develops new areas in research and education directed towards the end-user.

Job description

This position will be shared between research and teaching activities

Research:
The research assistant will collaborate with the T-Factor project, with minor collaboration with other related research activities. In particular the research assistant will work on the coordination of AAU participation within the T-Factor pilots. The research assistant will also collaborate to editing deliveries, reports and publications deriving from this project or to related research activities at the Service Design Lab

Teaching:
The position will cover the teaching and supervision activities for the master of Service Systems Design, in particular for the first (Fall) and second (Spring) semester.

Qualification requirements:
The required level of qualifications is at master level.

Appointment to Research Assistant may be for a period of up to three years. Reappointment may be made, but a Research Assistant can only be appointed to Research Assistant for a period of maximum three years. Employment is in accordance with the Ministerial Order on the Appointment of Academic Staff at Universities (the Appointment Order) and the Ministry of Finance's current Job Structure for Academic Staff at Universities.
